Cool! HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody! Surprisingly enough, we seem to have survived the infamous Y2K. I'll telling ya, that little problem gave me two good consulting jobs! But there's always more to do in the programming field.

Currently, I'm working on a large on-line catalog. Hope to have that in good shape by the end of this month. I'm also pursuing my Microsoft Certified Solution Developer certification. (Why do I feel like I'm getting assimilated by the Borg?!) Unfortunately, Visual Basic is a bit convoluted as a language so there lots and lots of stuff that just has to be rote memorized. But . . . I make it through (it and everything else are just really chewing up my time right now).

I do have a fun thing on the horizon. My daughter and I are trying to put together a parody music video for her media class. If I get it done I'll see about posting it on-line for you all to see it. It should be a hoot! ;-)

More topics on the discussion board. Since last I wrote we have . . . a Sherlock Holmes topic moderated by Todd Pence, a Beast Wars topic moderated by Corey Hines, a Supermarionation topic moderated by Phillip Culley, and a Brimstone project moderated by D. Stuart.

As always, I wouldn't want to conclude these musings without paying homage to the wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful moderators of the Nitpickers Guild! (Couldn't keep this going without them!) They are:
