As usual, things are hopping around here! Had a great but very busy weekend. One of the location can clubs, run by the inimitible Mica Colston celebrated their joinging of the Federation with a party and I was privledged to attend. I've also been working on a corporate video for a friend so that's been chewing up my time (not to mention choir reheasals for Christmas, recruiting moderators, work, etc., etc.) But, I'm having a blast!

New news on the discussion board. Since last we talked, I have two more moderators to introduce to you:

Joel Boutiere (jboutiere@nitcentral.com) will be looking after things on the X-File portion of the the discussion board (www.nitcentral.com/discus).

And Chris George (cgeorge@nitcentral.com) will head things up for DS9!

And, just in case you've been away for the last few weeks, here's a list of the other moderators . . .

Amos Painter (apainter@nitcentral.com), Earth: Final Conflict.

Brian Webber (bwebber@nitcentral.com), Babylon 5 and Brian's Movies

Andrew Corcoran (acorcoran@nitcentral.com), Red Dwarf

Jon Raines (jraines@nitcentral.com) Next Gen

Mathew Patternson (mpatterson@nitcentral.com), Seven Days, the new time travel show from UPN.

Murray Leeder (mleeder@nitcentral.com), The Trek Animated Series.

Michael Cheyne (mcheyne@nitcentral.com) Mike's Movies.

There's lots more to do if you interested in being a moderator. I still need someone to oversee Classic Trek and Voyager.

And . . . if there's a television series that you'd like to see on the boards that isn't there yet, I am more than happy to add it. (Provided it meets my standards for decorum. Baywatch doesn't! ;-) All you have to do is volunteer to moderate! (And you even get your own free email forwarding address at nitcentral.com. Such a deal I'm making you!.)

Oh and I received some fabulous news recently. My first editor--the person who recognized the wonder of the Nitpicker's Guides in the first place--Jeanne Cavelos has a new book coming out. Yea!

It's called "The Science of the X-Files" and you can read all about it on Jeanne's website at: http://www.sff.net/people/jcavelos/xf.htp
