Yea, and Gates said it and it was so.

Allie Brightwell of Hampshire, England sent me this extract from a magazine called The New Scientist (September 2, 1995 issue)

Peter Wood writes to tell us that he had just received Microsoft's advertising blurb about Windows 95 from Microsoft Australia. Among other things, the document states:

"A world, some 40 thousand kilometres in circumference, circles its sun in a perfect sweep that takes 24 hours, precisely. An idea as simple and as complex as freedom, excites and inspires nations and individuals alike..."

Comments Wood: "Bill Gates has shortened the year to 24 hours. Is he allowed to do that?"
