JOIN THE GUILD TODAY!

(Click here to register if you are already a Guild member)

IT'S FAST!
IT'S FUN!
IT'S EASY!

All you need to do is send an e-mail to Nitpicker Central that contains two items: First, you need to include your real name (as you want it to appear in the Membership list--please don't send names like "Kimatralos, sister of Kurn") and the city and state where you live (or the province and country as the case might be). Second, include a nit. It can be a nit in any of the incarnations of Star Trek or any other sci-fi television series or even a sci-fi movie. As always, you can even send in disagreements concerning any nits I have picked in any of the Guides or newsletters or anywhere else on NCIEO.

Now for the legalese: All submissions become the property of Phil Farrand and will not be returned. The information that you submit must be your own. Please do not download someone else's list of nits, put your name on them and then forward it to Nitpicker Central. Submissions may or may not be acknowledged. By submitting material, you grant permission for use of your submission and name in any future publication by Phil Farrand. Should a given mistake be published in one of the mediums of the Nitpicker's Guild, an effort will be made to credit the first person sending in that mistake. However, Phil Farrand makes no guarentee that such credit will be given. (Please understand the fact that you may not get any reply to your submission. Nitpicker Central receives a lot of incoming mail and quite frankly it is over-worked and under-staffed.)

Ready to Join the Guild? A few final items. Be sure to include the words, "New Member" in the subject line of your e-mail. And remember, it does take some time to process information through the Name and Address Department at Nitpicker Central. Although you are instantly a member of the Guild as soon as you submit a nit, your name may not appear on the membership list for up to two months.

To join the Nitpickers Guild send an email with a subject heading of "New Member" to: chief@nitcentral.com.

GUILDMEMBERS, REGISTER WITH NCIEO TODAY!

IT'S ALMOST COMPLETELY PAINLESS!

As you know if you're already a member of the Guild, in the past I have sent out newsletters to keep open the Nitpickers Guild communication channels. Now with NCIEO, I have a much more high-tech way of accomplishing this (not to mention cheaper, the postage to send out the newsletters to all the members in 1995 was unbelievable!) However, to make the most of this resource, I need your help. I need to know if you would prefer to come here to get your nitpicking information or simply receive a truncated newsletter from time to time via e-mail. (I would probably only send out a maximum of four e-mail newsletters a year, perhaps less depending on my work load).

The second reason to register is just as important as the first. If I lose my internet service for some reason (I've already had one Internet Service Provider do a flaming crash and burn on me!), I can't get a notice out to you if I don't have an email address (without sending it via the postal service and spending money for stamps, of course). Rest assured. I do not release my list to anyone else. I am very particular about this because that's the way I would like to be treated!

To register, send an e-mail with a subject heading of "Register" to chief@nitcentral.com. Please, include your name and address as it appears in my database so I can find you. Then, if you want to come to NCIEO for your nitpicking information add the line, "NCIEO is fine with me!" Or, if you would prefer to get periodic--and potentially sporadic--e-mails from Nitpicker Central add the line, "E-mail is better for me."
