THIS WEEK AT NITCENTRAL

Still working on That Fated Shore! Plan to rough out the end of chapter seventeen tomorrow. Only four more chapters to go!

I received Lawrence Krauss's latest book in the mail this last week from the publicity department at Basic Books. (I guess I'm on their "Star Trek" list now! ;-) It's called "Beyond Star Trek" and it's a general discusion of science fiction from a scientific viewpoint. I've been enjoying it! It's been very apparent that Mr. Krauss is a card-carrying member of the Church of the Holy Physics but aside from that I'm finding the information interesting. There's also some fascinating symbolism on the cover. I've already mentioned that the name of the book is "Beyond Star Trek." What I didn't tell you is that there's a glittery "X" behind the letters. An "X" . . . as in "X-Files"? ;-) (Mulder and Scully do get their fair share of coverage in the book.)

Uploaded more nits for Scientific Method. (Last week I uploaded the last smattering of nits for The Raven. Note: "The Raven" is now in the freezer.)

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The Brash Reflections for the third season of Voyager are officially frozen. However, you may feel free to send in additional nits for the episodes. I will keep the information for future reference and possible inclusion in a Voyager Nitpicker's Guide. Also frozen are Trials and Tribble-ations, along with all movie files.
